ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister (PM) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) lifetime supremo Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that his party is always ready for early elections at the accountability court.
Before the hearing of Flagship reference, Nawaz said that the PM’s recent statement of early elections had been welcomed by the people. He added that the PML-N believed in serious politics.

The former disqualified PM further said that the margin of win in 53 constituencies was less than rejected votes, adding that rigging had taken place, according to the report of the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN).

Earlier this week, while speaking to journalists in a special interview, PM Imran Khan gave a hint of early elections in the country.
