ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said that the government wanted to run the parliament jointly with the opposition but the opposition wanted to ruin the environment of the House.
The prime minister stated this while presiding over a parliamentary party meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Imran Khan also informed the parliamentary party members about the government’s policies.
The primer informed the cabinet regarding his recent China visit and economic situation.
The meeting also reviewed situation arising in the backdrop of the protests held by the Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP).
Addressing the meeting, PM Imran said that the government excellently controlled the law and order situation, adding that he would have to immediately return from China, if the government hadn’t succeeded in defusing the protests.
