KARACHI: Pakistan Navy Commander, Rear Admiral Ather Mukhtar, called on Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair at Governor House on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that Pakistan Navy has a great status in the world for its innovative expertise; it is performing duties with sincerity and protecting the ocean borders, besides stopping drug menace and averting spread of terrorism in the region.
The governor said that Pakistan’s enemies do not want to see CPEC project and are trying to spread terrorism in the country through ocean in a bid to gain their nefarious designs, but Pakistan Navy is fully capable to foil such designs.
Pakistan Navy is like strong walls of the ocean, and that is why our ocean boundaries are safe, he said. Adding that Pakistan Navy is world’s best navy, and the world respects its professional and technical expertise, Pakistan Navy’s efforts for eliminating terrorism in the region are commendable.
