LARKANA: Sindh is passing through a critical phase of poverty, unemployment and social evils, said Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Sanan Qureshi. He was addressing a gathering on the 5th death anniversary of his father Bashir Qureshi in Ratodero. Sanan said the PPP lawmakers are watching this sad scenario as silent spectators. About the statement of Pervaiz Elahi regarding the Kalabagh Dam, he said stealing Sindh’s water would not be tolerated anymore. Qureshi demanded water share of Sindh according to the 1945 accord. Sanan said that JSQM considers Urdu speaking people as part of Sindh and conspiracies for division of Sindh must be stopped now. He also condemned the brutal murder of Sindhi labourers who had gone to Balochistan for earning livelihood. Quran Khawani was held on the occasion and food was also distributed. Strict security arrangements were made on the occasion. Dr Niaz Kalani, Sagar Hanif Burdi, Mahboob Abro, Kehar Ansari, Nayab Sarkash Sindhi, Ali Raza Khaskheli, Momin Samo and Safdar Tunio also spoke. jamal dawoodpoto
