The weather would remain cold and dry in the metropolis for the next 24 hours, according to Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD).
On Monday, the minimum temperature measured in the metropolis was 12 degrees Celsius and the humidity level was recorded at 50 per cent.
According to the weather department, continental air is likely to prevail over most parts of the country during next few days and cold and dry weather can be expected. Very cold weather is expected in upper parts of the country and frost is also expected during morning hours. Dense and shallow foggy conditions are likely to prevail in central and southern areas of Punjab during mornings and nights.
